Lever valves can be used to manually switch air supplies on equipment or operate cylinders and other devices. Valves can be panel mounted or fastened to a surface via body mounting holes. Handles have a contemporary black molded grip and require 3.4 lbs. of force to operate. Valves are available in spring return, pneumatic return and maintained position versions.
Operating pressure range is 0-145 PSI. Actuation force at 90 PSI, is approx. 3.4 Lbs.
For normally open function on 3 way valves, reverse connect ports 1-3. For 2 way operation, plug port 3.
Panel mounting hole size for 1/8-ported valves is 5/8 inch diameter, for 1/4 ported valves, 7/8 inch. Through body mounting holes are 3/16″ dia.
Typical dimensions of 4 way 1/8 ported valves are 3.75″ L x 1.375″ W x 0.75″ D. For 1/4 ported valves: 4.75″ L x 2″ W x 1″ D. For 3 way valves subtract 0.75″ from L dimension. For pneumatic return valves add 1″ to L dimension. Allow space for fittings and tubing.
For valve specifications see appendix. For detail dimensions contact factory.

Spool valves rely on a stainless steel spool moving within a sleeve to direct flow to the ports of the valve. Spool designs are known for their long life capability. Available in single, double or with priority port actuators. The priority port design overrides the signal from the opposite pilot operator to insure return to home position. Pneumatically actuated spool valves are available in 1/8 and 1/4 port sizes and require a minimum of 35 PSI operating pressure. Valves can be mounted individually using through body holes or assembled on manifolds.
Pilot port size (for actuation): 1/8 for all size valves.
Operating pressure range 35 to 145 PSI. Actuation force (pilot pressure): 35 PSI minimum.
Mounting via 4 through body holes 3/16″ Dia.
For valve specifications see appendix. See accessory section for manifolds if required. For detail dimensions contact factory.

Intended Use-?Series 75 and 76 valves are intended for general purpose industrial applications utilizing normal shop air supply systems. For special applications with other media or other environments, contact Kuhnke.
Media-?Compressed air or other neutral gases, properly filtered. For applications on liquids contact Kuhnke.
Lubrication-?Valves operate on lubricated or non-lubricated systems. After using components in a lubricated system, do not switch to an un lubricated system. Avoid over lubrication.
Vacuum Applications-?Spool Valve designs can be applied on vacuum systems. For applications using poppet valves, use only specially assembled valves shown in the catalog.
Dimensions and Design Changes-?All dimensions in this catalog are approximate, if necessary, detailed drawings can be obtained from Kuhnke or from one of the Kuhnke websites. Dimensions, valve design and materials are subject to change without notice.
Metric and NPT threads-?Although similar in size, valve port threads in metric ported valves are different from NPT versions. NPT versions have a tapered thread that is used to form a seal with the fitting thread. Metric thread is straight, and the seal is provided by an o-ring or washer normally included with the connection fitting. Metric fittings can be used on NPT threaded valves, but NPT fittings cannot be used on metric threaded valves.

Three position valves can be used to position cylinder piston rods or switch air supplies to alternate devices. In line spool valves are available in 2 versions; with all ports open or all ports closed in the center (off) position. Springs return the valve to the center position when the coil power is switched off. Valves can be individually mounted using through body holes or assembled on manifolds.
Operating pressure range is 35 to 145 PSI. (Use valves with external pilot for switching lower pressures).
Through body mounting holes are 3/16″.
For valve specifications see appendix. See accessory section for connectors and manifolds. For detail dimensions contact factory.
Item # PT45A
The PT timer is an adjustable precise time delay pneumatic device. The timer is available with an on delay (NC), or an off delay (NO) output. The timer has 1/8 inch NPT ports.
The PT series timer combines a pneumatic timing mechanism with a floating spool valve assembly to provide a wide range of adjustable time control for fluid power systems. The timing assembly, which operates independently of the control pressure, is available in nine different ranges from one tenth of a second to 60 minutes, adjustable by means of a time-calibrated dial. Timing action is initiated by a motor diaphragm operated by a control pressure of from 5 to 140 PSIG.
The timer is equipped with a multi purpose 3 way output valve allowing it to be used as normally open, normally closed or as a diverter.
The PT is designed for panel or surface mounting. Panel mounted versions include a 3 13/16 inch square bezel while surface mounted units are equipped with a bracket for vertical mounting. If required, The PT can be specially calibrated for mounting horizontally.
Off Delay Timer Operation Applying pilot pressure of at least 100ms in duration to the control port shifts the valve. When the pilot pressure is removed, the timing sequence begins. After the timer reaches its set time, the valve switches off. Re-applying the pilot pressure resets the timer and valve.

Foot pedals are available in 3 or 4 way spring return or maintained versions. Latching pedals can be used to lock work pieces in place, while spring return units can be used to perform work operations like punching, pressing etc.
Operating pressure range is 0 to 145 PSI. Actuation force at 90 PSI. is approx. 8 lbs.
Enclosure dimensions are 9″ L x 5 5/8″ W x 4 5/8″ H. Enclosure- polycarbonate, valve body die cast aluminum housing with Buna N seals.

Instant Push-In Fittings for 4mm (5/32″) O.D. Tubing
Instant push-in fittings provide a fast means of connecting pneumatic systems. Air connections are made by pushing tubing into fitting. Removal of tubing is done by pressing in on the brass collar, releasing tube. Series 52 fittings are designed for 5/32 inch (4mm) tubing and are constructed with a brass base and an anodized aluminum collar. Series 56 push-in fittings are constructed the same except have molded collars, and accept 1/8 inch (6mm) tubing.
